The revolutions are being measured opto-electronically and readjusted electronically.
The supporting device for the shaking platform attachment is driven by an eccentric mechanism of 3 mm lifting capacity (from edge to edge). The rotation of the eccentric driveshaft is transmitted from powerful ball bearings to the supporting device.
Four tubular connecting pieces prevent the supporting device from turning. In contrast to the traditional single-point suspension, these silicone connecting pieces symmetrically adapt themselves to the centre of rotation. The result is an uniform, horizontal and circular rotation at every point of the supporting device.
A toggle switch permits different functions: “0” = “OFF”, “I” = “Continuous operation” and “II” = “Timer”. The timer can be set from 1 to 60 minutes.
The shaking platform is equipped with an anti-slip rubbery mat, which holds small containers securely in place. The mat can be easily cleaned with water and detergent.
